Soundcheck is now in its 3rd
year! Soundcheck, Open Mic Night
for Teens, is a pet project
started by Farida and a group
of friends in Chatham, VA, to
encourage creativity and awareness
of the arts. Local teens come
to Soundcheck once a month to
perform music, readings, skits,
show visual art or just jam
with their peers. We wish to
thank the Virginia Commission
for the Arts for the Project
Grant they awarded us in 2007!
Farida has been doing graphic
design for the Art Museum of
Western Virginia since 2005.
